Provide the native or neutral CAD model and the drawing that controls the part. Identify material grade, heat treatment, threads, mating surfaces and critical tolerances.
Choose a process for the requirement
CNC machining, additive methods and fabrication have different constraints. Quantity, geometry, finish and inspection influence the route. We review those tradeoffs before confirming production.
Know what the quote includes
Setup, tooling, inspection, finishing, packaging and delivery requirements need explicit treatment. Quote revisions should identify scope changes instead of hiding them in email threads.
Release with control
Production should reference the approved drawing revision and acceptance criteria. Engineering changes after release require a documented decision on scope, cost and schedule.
