Assembly instructions, fasteners, purchased components, test methods and packaging requirements affect the complete build. Document them alongside the manufactured parts.
Set a practical schedule
Required dates need to account for material, outside processing, inspection and shipping. Dates are confirmed after scope and capacity review rather than generated from a form.
Make repeat work easier
Keep production history and changes tied to the part record. Forecasts and recurring releases can be evaluated after the initial manufacturing route is established.
